I was born in a bank - - my mother went there and made a deposit

Grace Diane Acrostic

God could not have given me a more
Righteous sister; she has
Always been faithful in
Caring for her five siblings,
Even when we were brats.

Destined to be a great mother,
Instinctively knowing what is right.
A great poetess, my inspiration.
Never, ever losing sight of
Eternal goals and exaltation.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written 23 October 2014...Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil... Today I decided that I would write a poem about each of my siblings, where the first letter of the first word of each line would spell out their names. Since Diane is the oldest, I thought I would start with her. Mack, you're next.... Update 24 Dec 2014... Since Poem Hunter added sound to the original poem, I deleted it and resubmitted it today with a new title. Resubmitted 30 October 2020 using my new method of putting the poem in the poet's notes area and putting a sentence in Spanish or Portuguese in the poem area. So far, this has kept PH from adding a video/soundtrack. Update 4 Feb 2022: I have discovered that many people see the Spanish or Portuguese sentence and just click away from the poem, not realizing that the actual poem is in the poet's notes area, so I am going through all of my 600+ poems and putting the poem back in the poem area where it belongs.
