The newly married brown couples met at Greece.
He reached from New Delhi,
she from Rome-
occupation created this distance.
I could clearly observe-
two pairs of still eyes fixed at each other,
silence was their voice,
heart beat was their language.
Distance had nothing to do
as the distance between two hearts
was too small to be measured.
Time was relative-
long waiting seemed to be a moment
but each of ten days meet seemed to be
an unending life long romantic novel.
Economic crisis of a land had nothing to do
with their romantic moods!
What did the whites think?
Melodious quality could never be dictated by
giant quantity- everywhere we can notice
the sunshine, the twinkling of stars, the smiling of moon...
