I sit with my plants these days
Really for want of better company
They're quiet, they're gentle
They respond to kind attention
And they help me breathe purely
I have them all around me
Rustling, waving, smiling and growing
Filling my world with receptive nature
Responding to my touch
I feed them with that with is enriching
And they nourish and teach me
About the world, nature and myself
It is so what my spirit needs.
