Groomed To Expect Deception Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Groomed To Expect Deception

An intention to reveal,
Is not meant to conceal it.
Although,
Mentioned to have others believe...
What had been stated,
Had been misunderstood.
Since the intention to mention it,
Should have been known...
Was intentionally without content.

And no one listening to such nonsense,
Would have allowed to take seriously...
Someone who mentions intentions,
Done to get attention.
With a doing of this to guarantee,
Others will give it anyway.
To debate between themselves.
Regardless if there is significance,
Heard or not to hear it spoken.

Leaving the who deceives,
Feeling pleased on a daily basis.
And accustomed to it.
Knowing what they choose to do,
Will be accepted and approved.
As if,
To groom others to expect deception.
Doing this to feed their addiction.
