Guard my heart Lord
For it is fragile as a freeze dried rose
The slightest touch
It would burst to dust
Guard my heart Lord
It's very fiber
as sheer as the gossamer web
the spider dances upon
yet man can break at will
Guard my heart Lord
Reveal the perniciousness
beneath the charm of the serpent's tongue
For words can cut like a knife
