POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This haiku is inspired by watching a crane bird. Have you ever notices a crane bird standing motionless on one leg for eight or nine hours at a stretch to catch the fish?
Cranes can sit and wait for a fish to show its face for hours and hours in one spot one can learn the lesson of patience from this beautiful bird.
