(haiku) Fly By

Lovely butterfly
Flutters by her resting place
Yellow like her hair

A lovely Haiku! It triggered a memory of when I was a boy. My father had a poem framed on his bedroom wall, It was written by him in 1937 and presented to his mother. He had rhymed butterfly with flutter by and had his Aunt, who was a very good artist and a Benedictine nun, paint a yellow butterfly and flowers on it.

What a great remembrance. And poetry and creativity running in your family... nice.
