Hairy Friend
footstep pressing on soft sand
forming puddles of muddy water
kick sand to following young pup
tongue sagging trying to catch-up
she turn around and pick her up
jump off her cradle; she took off
chase ensued around; i watch
puppy can run; playfully smart
she finally got tired let her go
lying on grass for minutes; few
pup came back lick her face
sit besides her in moment peace
