Haunted Poem by Tatianna Rei Moonshadow

Haunted

Rating: 5.0

I fight the urge to sleep
And I fight the instinct to remember
Where is the peace now
That I had so long ago in December
I dream a violent story
Of ghosts and you and ghouls
The story of our romance
That was so inelegantly cruel
My own mind is working against me
The memories remain ever clear
When I'm dreaming you feel so f**king close
It's as if I were still holding you near
Our story is crushingly tragic
Your betrayal was brutal at best
The dreams replaying our good times
Are ripping my heart by the arteries straight from my chest
To this day I am suffering for you
My heart is tearing at the seams
I am Haunted by your image
I cannot escape you in my dreams
