Heaven Shall Claim You …. [an Echo To Lora Colon's " As The Night Claims The Moon"; Short; Playing Around; Love; Loneliness] Poem by Bri Edwards

Heaven Shall Claim You …. [an Echo To Lora Colon's " As The Night Claims The Moon"; Short; Playing Around; Love; Loneliness]

Have you not seen the pale Moon at Midday?
But "each dawn claims the rising sun" is alright.
Gather woes if you really must; I say THAT's OK.
Claim all of them if it lessons your pitiful plight!

Does tide claim shore, or does shore claim tide?
But soil claiming sown seeds is really ….ok by me.
Let "love" renew your fortitude. Don't be denied,
and use it to claim pain if you wish. I'm sure it's free.

Those damn red roses always beat me first to the punch,
but I'm consoled if Queen Bee shows me to her bower.
By all means stay with "him". I hope he takes you to ……
LUNCH.
When I'm done with Q. Bee (and you with him) we'll ……SHOWER!

Does laying claim to the sky mean the sky's been stolen?
Yes? Why, then, aren't the thieves arrested and jailed?
Stealing love is allowed IF, with need, you are swollen.
Go ahead, claim it all for your own. Be not then assailed.

Death would not dare to claim you! COULD I be wrong?
But if Death does take you, I assure you a fine reward,
as you shall undoubtedly end up hearing Heavenly song.
With that in mind, dream the dream and fall on your …..SW0RD!
