Heavenly Christmas Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Heavenly Christmas

Rating: 5.0

I've dried my eyes a thousand times,
And still the teardrops fall,
At christmas time I feel so lost,
For you're not here at all.

The snow falls on the frosty ground,
It rests upon the trees,
Each christmas time I miss you more,
I'm sad you had to leave.

Your pleasant laugh is missing now,
Your lovely smile is too,
Christmas's won't be the same,
Somehow without you.

The splendid winter sun doth shine,
Down onto this cold day,
Wishing you a merry christmas,
In heaven,
Sending love your way.

Jayne, please close your eyes and sit still for a few minutes. Let his smile and laughter permeate your meditation. You may be very pleasantly surprised at what transpires. Merry Christmas, dear poetess!
