Heavy Rain Poem by Rini Shibu

Heavy Rain

Rating: 4.5

It was heavily raining
And the lightening was frightening
But it washed away all the dirt

Though the land was flooded
And farms were pooled
then sun kissed the soil

Once again clear and bright sky
And birds started to fly
Life returns and nature sings

Here the rain continues, many people are evicted from their houses, streets are flooded and people are in great peril! Though water has receded from some areas, life is still limping back to normalcy! You have drawn here a welcome scene full of beauty throbbing with renewed vigor!

Lightening frightens and heavy rain motivates attention. While flood comes due to heavy rain this provokes thought. Still we hear about life returns after flood and nature sings song of affection. Wonderful poem is beautifully penned...10
