Heightened Awareness Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Heightened Awareness

Heightened Awareness

Do you see
What I see...
In blindness?

Do you hear
What I hear...
In my deafness?

Do you taste now...
Delectable...
In selectable?

Do you smell this...
Such hell's fear
When death's near?

Do you somehow touch
All that is dear...
And not so near?
