Helen Died - Poem by Marjorie DeBol DeFazio

How odd
Helen died today
Helen who wouldn’t die
Died today

Remove the tube
The doctor said
She’s using tax payer money

Mimi screamed inside her head
She’s paid taxes all these years
And they removed the tube

Helen died today
