High Excellent Splendour Poem by Obinna Kenechukwu Eruchie

Profound zooms past one’s imagination,
A light booming of summer’s radiance
In a starry zone bound by wide ascent
Dwell tall and dainty manly forms
Wrapped in flown robes white, with wings white.
Ethereal as shown in their effulgence,
Bloom of rays emanated from their wings
Round the vapours booming in hue and size,
Angels spirited as the clouds,
Spawning high excellent splendour.

Absolute as they emerge in their spark
On flaming flight fuelled by their fiery wings,
Proceeding in perpetual airy stairs,
Ever on bliss high is their blaze.
They are beings of poise who sing
With harmonious resplendence like daisy
In whiteness, joyousness influences.
Voices gilded in lively singing to
Exhilaration round-a-high,
Beaming high excellent splendour.

And then, onward how they dash skylark-like
Through the clouds that glow with sharp grandeur.
They leave with trails of torrents of glory
Overwhelming with swiftness fixed
In glamourous grace they render.
Firmament is strewn solid in silver,
As they swerve to extend in prescribed orb.
A view can set one’s mind flapping with awe
In deeming such heavenly scene
Bearing high excellent splendour.
