Highway Electric Poles Poem by Indira Renganathan

Highway Electric Poles

Rating: 5.0

Highly in 'highways'
Like that of a human-chain
Hand to hand from a power-hand
They hold their hearts chained
To bow down
For a hurricane connection
Or a cab-collision
Or a mob commotion
To be pelted and hung
All towards a power failure
Letting the highways aghast
With an infernal throne

A very unusual subject handled deftly...a very interesting poem
