समझदार लोग
कुछ दिन पूर्व 49 समझदार लोगों ने
देखा, समझा और मशवरा किया
और प्रधानमन्त्री को एक पत्र लिखा
जिसमें देश के सामने मुंह बाये
भीड़ द्वारा मारने पीटने की तथा
हत्या की घृणित व लज्जित करने वाली
घटनाओं की ओर ध्यान खींचते हुये
त्वरित कार्यवाही करने का आग्रह किया गया.

तत्पश्चात 62 अधिक समझदार लोगों ने
पहले पत्र को पढ़ा, समझा और मशवरा किया
और प्रधानमन्त्री को अपना पत्र लिखा
बताया कि पहले समूह वालों ने अपने पत्र में
छांट कर केवल कुछ ही घटनाओं का ज़िक्र किया है
बहुत सी गंभीर बातों को जानबूझ कर छोड़ दिया है
जिससे उनकी मंशा पर भी सवाल उठाये जा सकते हैं
उनका असली उद्देश्य देश की साख को बट्टा लगाना है

62 अधिक समझदार लोगों ने
49 समझदार लोगों की चिंता को
बेमानी समझते हुये प्र. मन्त्री द्वारा उसे
किसी कार्यवाही के योग्य नहीं माना.
I appreciate the review of Aniruddha Pathak and his saying from Sanskrit. The theme of the poem is well executed in last stanza. It is a nice poem on freedom. Thank you dear Manga Ji for sharing this poem.
Both making too much fuss about nothing. As they say in Sanskrit: prabhaate meghaadumbaram. The clouds thunder and threaten to pour in the morning, but no rain at all as usually happens. You have dear poet RM beautifully brought this aspect alive. Well done.
