Rain (Hindi) - Poem by Rajnish Manga

Rain

The rain is raining all around,
It falls on field and tree,
It rains on the umbrellas here,
And on the ships at sea.

Original poem by Robert Louis Stevenson

    It is very rare indeed,
and still I see here that
    the translation has
    surpassed the original in beauty.

Rain is the life and love of trees and lands. A brilliant poem is amazingly shared. Thanks for sharing.

IF originally from your pen, I´d say this is the famous monsoon, but it comes from the shelf of RTL and you have translated that, it remains a remarkable poem though even translated, Enjoyed the brevity and the easy rhyming flow. Thank you for sharing, GBU, poet friend Rajnish. A 10 and much more for the voting. (Report)Reply
