History Maker Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

History Maker

I want the proof of my innocence,
Vindicated.
And the evidence of it revealed.
However...
Before I allow that action taken,
I would like to make it known...
No one was promised,
More than a million dollars pay.
Regardless of those allegations made,
By others who were paid...
To lie.
Since I know who got what to do,
When and why for whatever the reason.
With their oath to keep my deceptions,
Secret.
This...
I would like to make understood.

"Excuse me.
But...
As a member of the press,
Are you confessing your deceptions?
Or...
Are you using this news conference,
To address the ones...
Who could and may be,
Associated as accessories...
In the committing with you,
Such corrupted and criminal crimes...
Unknown to mankind anytime on Earth! "

Well...
Don't accuse me,
For doing the best I can...
To be remembered forever.
You have no idea,
How difficult it has been...
For me to do 'something'.
'Anything' historic.
No one has ever done!

"Your comments?
Border on the 'hysterical'."

Is that a good or a bad thing?
Or do you mean 'historical'?
