平生一把炬
素食幾顆鹽
十月懷胎苦
兩番哺乳甜
相夫身務正
教子己先嚴
品德培誠信
家風養孝廉
殷殷存母望
每每恕兒嫌
憶故知心跡
思親濕眼簾


注：农历二月十一日是我母亲忌辰纪念日。


Hold A Memorial Ceremony For My Mother


Your life like a torch
The vegetarian diet with several salt
Ten months' pregnancy bitter
Twice lactations sweet
Assisted your husband, your body must be straight
Taught your children, yourself first strict
Your character cultivation of our sincerity
Our family tradition nurturance of our filial piety and honesty
Profound affection with my mother's hopes
Often excused your son's fault
Recall the past, know the true state of your mind
Miss my mother, tears wet my eyes


Note: the 11th day of the second month of the Chinese lunar calendar is my mother's death anniversary.
