Hold Me Now (Sweet Love) - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Hold me now sweet love as I lay down,
I'm exhausted and physically spent
having done chores all day while not feeling well.
I want you to hold me and share our
loving peace while we close our eyes and drift off.
Hold me now please sweet love I truly
need you so very much.
I need to feel you right next to me
feeling your warmth and your love surrounding
in complete and total comfort.
Soothing the aching and shaking I
am currently suffering.
Come hold me sweet lady and sleep
possibly even through this very night.
I love and miss you my only one.
Hold me now my sweet love I'm so tired
and not feeling so well.
I want to be in the arms of my only love,
in your arms there is comfort from
your peaceful loving spirit.
Feeling the rhythym and love of your heart
will give solace to that which is hurting.
Please come hold me now my sweet Angel of love,
you are everything to me that is right in the world.
