Holding Hands - Poem by Ojimu Sunday David
Holding hands is one thing that is rarely done in our computer age
Since genuine love and companionship has been sent down memory lane
I remember that it takes two people that are in agreement to hold hands
Holding hands is attributed to nothing but one thing
According to the law of my mind, it spells every letter in Bond and togetherness
It takes two people with commitment (Emotional, Social or Spiritual) to hold hands
Even in everyday life, casual friends can’t be seen holding hands
Then the concept behind holding hands showed itself in totality to me
Whenever humans want to make pronunciations like vows, oats or covenant
Then holding hands is of utmost importance
Holding hands has been disbanded and paid less attention by this generation
It takes two that unite to hold hands and Genuine Love when it comes to sexuality
Two people that are truly in love with each other can be found holding hands
Not caring if it is in the open or in secrecy
If you tend to be in a relationship and your partner will not hold your hand in public
Then something is wrong somewhere.. Beware…! ! ! !
Holding hands shows bond than even wedding rings, says my Idiosyncrasy
If a wedded man won’t hold his spouse’s hand in public
Then tell me where the bond in that matrimony is?
Holding hands as simple and ordinary as it can be is a symbol of bond and communion
Which can never be disputed by any law, creed or even nature itself.
