Hope In A Rainy Day Poem by Obed dela Cruz

Hope In A Rainy Day

Rating: 5.0

A lonesome cry,
A distant thunder;
Sometimes we hear,
Sometimes we’re afraid.

Through wailing storms
That hid the summer,
We find our eyes
With the tears we made.

Earth has seasons
And life has its years.
We must decide
The way we must live.

Let’s not listen
To the mock of fears,
For in our hearts
We know we believe.

So when there is
Nothing left to see,
Let’s look inside
‘Til we dream again.

For what’s within
Though a mystery,
Shall then unfold,
Only God knows when.

The rainy days
Are about to end.
Soon we will see
The sky, its rainbow.

The morning sun
Will be our best friend
And we will smile
With joy that is so.
