How 'bout I Die Tonight Poem by Richard Wlodarski

How 'bout I Die Tonight

Rating: 5.0

How 'bout I die tonight
Just to see how you felt
About good old darn me

Do you feel
I passed the grade
At least C grade

Did I see
The sunshine
In darkness

Did I hear
The sound music
In my deafness

Did I taste
Life's grandness
In distress

Did I touch
Life's beauty
Painted it

As I finished the last word of this poem, Don MacLean's Starry Starry Night came to mind....I can hear the music. It works well with your words, Richard.

The singer and the song are amongst my all-time favourites. To have this poem associated with that song is a huge compliment for me. Thanks so very much! ! !

When we die it will be a blow to everyone we know.
