How Can I Forget Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

How Can I Forget

Don't you find it odd,
You can remember everything...
I have ever done to you,
That offended.
With unending elaboration.
But you have an absence of memory,
Each time you have publicly disrespected me.
And the latest of your misdeeds,
You sought just recently to do.
But how can I forget...
It's all about 'you' isn't it?
