How I Fell In Love Poem by Susheela Alexiose

How I Fell In Love

Rating: 5.0

How I fell in love with a spy
Whom I didn't care much all those years
Till destiny took me in his arms
Or is it my foolishness or ignorance
Little did I realise that I was sharing
My life to the one who wanted
To take my life away from me
Oh foolish me, I believed every lie
And trusted the hands that wiped my tears
And the heart that held me close
And the lips that kissed my fears
I fell in love with my spy
And was willing to surrender my life
Oh foolish me, I believed every lie
And forgot my true love
Who was watching over me
With his outstretched arms
And nail pierced hands
Oh foolish me, I believed every lie

A poem about true love and infidelity. A spy is the symbol of being infidel. Grand poem, perfectly worded. True love is God.
