How To Covet - Poem by Eila Mahima Jaipaul

can you tell me how
I am supposed to
stretch your final kiss
into eternity
have you directions as to how
I am supposed to
make the last time you touched me
last forever
are there instructions on how
I am supposed to
keep the taste of you
in my mouth constantly
please tell me
if there is information on how
I am supposed to
keep you
when you insist on walking away.
