Hugged By Nature Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Hugged By Nature

It's morning call,
the shrill sound of life.
As it flies off yonder,
who knows where the crow goes?

In woodland near i plainly hear,
the wood pigeons coo.
As the grey clouds part,
The sounds of life,
Still ringing in my ears.

A ray of light,
shines down upon this place,
This heavenly moment,
Touched by the morning sun.
I'm in the arms of nature,
Hugged by its loving embrace.
