Hugs Poem by Dee Daffodil

Hugs

While often taken for granted
The 'hug' can actually be
A very powerful entity
On it's own

While occasionally mistreated...
Hugs can be very forgiving
And actually..
Require very little care

Hugs come in a variety
Of shapes, sizes and flavours
Be especially careful
Of the chocolate ones...
If you live in a hot climate!

Hugs...
Are very affectionate little critters
And should always be kept...
Close to you

Never leave a hug in the garage...
Or other dark, damp place...
Unattended!
They can get rather lonely...
And may seek out a new home!

Hugs...
Should be stored with care...
When not being used
While some owners prefer to keep them
Fresh in the freezer...
Others have had great success
Wrapping them in a soft material
And placing them in a box
On a high shelf

While some hugs are meant
To be shared with friends
They are not redeemable
Nor are meant the be exchanged
Hugs delivered...
Are intended only
For the original receiver

With a little care and attention
Hugs will provide many
Hours of comfort and enjoyment!
Whenever you need to brighten your day...
Take a hug, apply liberally...
And enjoy!

Hugs,
Dee

Dee, Very sweet! ! ! However, I disagree with you about their storage. I still believe that they keep better and longer in the freezer. B.V.A.
