Human Bondages - Love Poem by Palitha Ranatunge

Human Bondages - Love

Rating: 5.0

Love is not to be exchanged
For any value,
Values like money, power,
Beauty, stamina, energy or another love...
It is available for an stranger
May not be for you or me
It is an unquestionable truth
Never get depressed or
Antagonized before such, or
On him or her for your defeat,
Never ask the question that
What is the imperfection in you
or what disqualifies you from selection,
You may be perfect to the utmost
But it is not the question
About these strange bondages
Never worry, you are not infected
With any rotten decease
But you are sick but having no cure,
Love is not a cheap consummate item
Selling at a public or an internet market
If you can not buy it,

Go away for ever!

No point in scheming for
Stealing or robbing it.
