তুমি মানব,
নহে দানব—
তুমি মনুষ্যত্বের দিশারি।

You are human,
Not a demon—
You are a guide to humanity.

তুমি বীর,
তুমি আসোয়ার,
তুমি সদা চঞ্চল-হুঁশিয়ারি।

You are a hero,
You are a rider,
You are ever alert and restless.

তুমি সত্য,
সততা যাচাইয়ে তুমি
তুমি ভীষণ অগ্রণী।

You are truth,
You are foremost in testing honesty,
You are fiercely progressive.

তুমি অগ্নিস্ফুলিঙ্গ,
তুমি দাবানল—
দাবদাহন পাপীর পাষাণী।

You are a spark of fire,
You are a raging wildfire—
Your scorching blaze turns the sinner to stone.

তুমি রুক্ষহস্তী,
তুমি বজ্রমুষ্ঠি
তুমি কোমল প্রাণের পুষ্প মতন।

You are a mighty elephant,
You are a thunderous fist,
Yet you are like a flower to tender hearts.

তুমিই তুমি,
তুমি মানব
নেইকো তোমার পতন।

You are truly yourself,
You are human,
There is no downfall for you.

তুমি মানব,
তুমি সুপ্ত,
তুমি সপ্তপাতালের হিমাগ্নি।

You are human,
You lie dormant,
You are the frozen fire of the seven netherworlds.

তুমি জালিমের,
তুমি মহাত্রাস
তুমি, তুমি ফণী।

You are the terror of the oppressor,
You are a great dread,
You are, you are a hooded serpent.

তুমি কল্যাণ মরুর,
তুমি তৃষ্ণা মিটাবার
তুমি মহাশান্তি।

You are the blessing of the desert,
You are the one who quenches thirst,
You are supreme peace.

তুমি অসীম সাহসিক,
তুমি পরোপকারী
তুমি চপল প্রেমিক ভ্রান্তি।

You are boundlessly courageous,
You are benevolent to others,
You are a fickle lover, prone to error.

তুমি প্রশাসন,
তুমি সুপার স্টার
তুমি সভ্যতার সূচক।

You are administration,
You are a superstar,
You are a measure of civilization.

তুমি মানব,
নহে দানব—
তুমি জাতির পথ প্রদর্শক।
