Humanity Poem by Shaun Cronick

Humanity

Rating: 5.0

There's a cry in evolution,
All will answer and decide.
For the truth is everlasting,
Conquer wrong and foolish pride.
Not a call for greed and glory,
Not a sigh for fame that be,
Simply for humanity.

On the road of devastation,
Strewn with hungered begging a meal.
So hard and heavy be our burdens,
All poor and weak this day will heal.
At the dawn of victory,
Gifted to humanity.

In all faith's there's resurrection,
For the perished souls that be.
Gifting freedom to all hearts,
Endless virtues we now can see.
By their light let us be guided,
Shining on humanity.
