Humen Being (Translation) Poem by Jazib Kamalvi

Humen Being (Translation)

Rating: 3.0

My creator has bestowed two eyes and two ears upon us. Then He has bestowed upon us one tongue by the divine wisdom.

In this way everyone knows that the tongue's work is one fifth. But since the time, this innocent (tongue) has become our possession.

All the five duties are assigned to it and the doors of ears and eyes are closed. Blaming, back biting, lying and complaining are our favourite dishes such as rose petal jam.
If we keep our ears and eyes open, we may transform from homosapiens to humen beings gradually.

My creator has bestowed two eyes and two ears upon us. Then He has bestowed upon us one tongue by the divine wisdom......... Allah has given us a judgemental brain to think what is right and what is wrong. We choose to be wrong often. your point of view toward living a life impress me. Thanks

Dear Jazib, I enjoyed your poem and Love. I see a vast philosoph3cal thought in it. I appreciated also writing techniques you used contrasting love to. As for your translations6 they produce an impression of a word for word translation from Urdu, not a rhymed poem. Probably you focused more on content6 rather than on poetic form of these verses. I wish you every success!
