Hurricane Truth And Lies
The air felt the same
back when we experienced the hurricane
the memories are so vivid of that terrible day
our house a boat between the ocean and bay
darkness surrounded us
as we witnessed nature's fury
alone to fend for ourselves
it was quite a story
that still brings tears to my eyes
because truth floated to the surface
after the drowning of all the lies

A potent hurricane, a life threatening and changing event, a political statement. You are correct truth will float to the surface. It is a shame it has to take this form. The Captain believes it is time for a mutiny.
