i am not a ball
don't kick me..
i am not a fish
don't catch me..
i am not a bird
don't shoot me..
i am not a dolphin
don't pamper me..
i am not a soap
don't wash me..
i am not a cigarette
don't smoke me..
i am not a lipstick
don't wear me..
i am not a car
don't drive me..
i am not a riddle
don't solve me..
i am not a poem
don't read me..
i am a silly thought, so ignore me..

Wow! This is brilliant! And I love the title! Of course I have to click on something that says '-don't read me'! lol I love the style of 'I am not/ don't'. It flows so well and you got really creative with it. I love it!

I liked the focus and brevity of the lines. The pace of the poem is great and maintained even though the images shift. I always drawn to economy of thought and line, though it's easy even in my own work to 'wander' about with thought unintentionally. Looking forward to reading more of your work
