I am sorry if i remind you of unthinkable tragedy of 9/11
Where 3000 people were killed by Islamic hijackers
I am sorry if i remind you of Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad
Who had an open fire on an army recruiting office in Little Rock, Arkansas
And killed one of your soldiers
I am sorry if i remind you of Nidal Hasan
Who opened a fire in the Soldier Readiness Processing Center at Fort Hood, Texas
And killed 13 fellow soldiers
I am sorry if i remind you of Omar Mateen,
Who massacres forty-nine people at a gay nightclub in Orlando
I am sorry if i remind you of the man
Who shot a police officer three times 'in the name of Islam'. in Philadelphia
I am sorry if i remind you of Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife
Who shot up a Christmas party
And left fourteen dead in San Bernardino, CA
I am sorry if i remind you of the man
Who stages a suicide attack on a recruiting center at a strip mall and a naval center
And left five dead in Chattanooga, TN
I am sorry if i remind you of the Islamic extremist
Who murdered two homosexuals in Seattle, WA
I am sorry if i remind you of the Saudi college student
Who slashes the throat of a Jewish student with a 4" butterfly knife
After undergoing a religious revival in Houston, TX
I am sorry if i remind you of the gunman
Who targets a van packed with Jewish boys and killed a 16-year-old in Brooklyn, NY
I am sorry if i remind you of Elijah Muhammad, a member of Nation of Islam
Who ordered to shoot seven members of a family to death in cold blood, including four children
I am very sorry to remind you all of the tragedies, even more
And i appreciate your fidelity to us
Living in the same society with equality and dignity
But I am not sorry to announce myself as a Muslim girl
I am not sorry to say i hold Islamic belief
Because,
Islam means tolerance
Islam means peace
Islam never support killing of innocent people
Allah of the Holy Quran never advocated killing
Real Islam is sanctified from violence
Islam denounce all violence
These are the misguided individuals who think differently
They think what all nonsense they are doing is called Jihad
They believe that killing unbelievers is mandatory for every Muslim
They think blowing-up their own bodies to kill innocent people
Will bring paradise to them as a reward
This is a whole distorted idea
They are insane
They are trash
Islam does not permit Muslim to kill others
Islam permits Muslim to fight in self-defense
The permission was given in Quran to those against whom war is waged
And fighting wasn't just to defend Muslims from persecution
But to defend Christians, Jews, and people of all faiths
Living under Almighty's care
AGAIN,
I am sorry
Because i evoke horrible memories of 9/11 and so on
I remind you of every terrorist attacks time to time
BUT this is not me who kills thousands or more
This is not me who plays with cold blood
This is me an Islamic believer
Who lives with tolerance to every religion
Who lives with the respect to the land
Where she was excepted with equal rights and respect
BUT Nothing makes sense to you
Because i am one of them, this is what you believe
I know i cause you pain
Yet, you don't know how much you cause me pain!
