I am the colour of life
The very gold at sunrise
The auburn at sunset
I give rise to meaning and sense

I am the colour of commonality
The deep yellow in gold
The shiny surface in silver
I am the valuable in precious metals

I am the colour of reason
The sparkle in diamond
The deep green I emeralds
I give density to thought

I am the colour of blood
The blue in oxygen
I am who I am from ancient
As existed before existence
