I Am The Lost Girl - Poem by Violet Llewellyn

I am the lost girl
the one of the earth
the one of the north
the one of your birth

I am the lost girl
the one of the air
the one of the east
of the truth laid bare

I am the lost girl
the one of the fire
the one of the south
and everything you desire

I am the lost girl
the one of the water
the one of the west
And I am your daughter

    Hey!
Wow, that is such a good poem. It's the kind that when you read it you picture things in your head. Those are always the best! ! !

This is so cool, I love the easy rhythm and the imagery. And I love the last verse too - especially that sinister last line. This is a great poem, thank you! (Report)Reply
