I And Thee... Poem by Patricia Gale

I And Thee...

Rating: 5.0

Oh that thou wouldst hold my hand
Walk with thy maiden through time
To a place for only you and I
Werest our love shall forever be
To touch thy brow and kiss thy lips
To be near heavens gates

Through moon lit nights
And the sun shinning bright
To lay with thee upon a bed of clouds
Drifting away like a feather in the wind
If only thou wouldst hold me hand
And walk with thy lady to love eternal
Werest you and I, only be
And the world our kingdom alone

As I read this, I was thinking....how I'd love to be alone in this beautiful place with my husband, far away from the chaos of this world. This is definitely from another place and time, a better one, a more dreamy one. I love it! Sheila
