I could feel his feeling of gently slipping out
I could also feel him feeling it with alert vision
What a brave gentleman making an adieu moment..
A speechless performance that drowned me in tension
Breathless and awry I shut my tearful eyes in prayer
Closing his eyes to mean an end-of-life-care
