I Could'Ve Swore The Moon Winked Back Poem by Kewayne Wadley

I Could'Ve Swore The Moon Winked Back

Don't let me be alone tonight
I know your not happy here
But understand
With each breath that breathes in my lungs
I plan to love you
Deeply, fluently
Words that perhaps were forgotten
Let warm your heart as I hold you in my arms
Should the stars fall from the sky
Let me replace with your eyes
Those glorious statures that blind without knowing
That bellows of a better place
Heaven seen in the glimpse you looked up at me
It shows as my face can no longer hide
Let my hands become the rock that shelters you from such pillars that wish to taste you in ways found unappealing
I love you without knowing why
Without knowing depth
As not to stop, with each look you give
As a man
let me provide you with lips that hate to see you leave
As a man
let eyes taste you with the hopes you'd never leave
A provider that caters to both your needs
Your wants
Confessions that bloom the next constellation that begins with your hand in mine
