I'D Spit On Your Soul.. If You Had One - Poem by Eila Mahima Jaipaul

I thought...
worse than vile
but I did not come close
I do not believe
I have ever met someone
so abject and debased
yet at the same time so foul
I feel soiled from
having touched him
the degradation of his soul
almost makes me doubt
he has one.
