I Dream - Poem by Manny Lopez

I dream in color
with black in white
I dream in verse
this is right.
I don't dream in choclate
but I wish I do.
I have some nightmares
but I wish I could dream of you.
A dream withen my dream of a dream
I see myself big in time.
Without use of a rhyme.
I stay true to me
so that when I dream, I can dream free.

Free of a dream within a dream of my dream.
Stay away from the reality beam.
Asleep, I think it's better to be there; stay by myself.
Like it's fine to take away time from a place with no rhyme.
Because once I wake up inside the dream of my dream,
I wake up to a hard-hitting reality that throws problems at me without mercy.
