I have been right here.
With blemishes and flaws,
Without one excuse to make.
I have been right here to accept,
And chase my own obstacles away.
With a facing of fear and suspected threats.

I have been right here to confess,
Steps I have made to admit mistakes.
I have been right here to allow myself,
To endure whatever it took for me to see...
What it was I had not done,
To better the living of my life.

I have been right here to know,
What it feels like to be despised AND loved.
I have been right here to realize unhappiness too.
But I refuse to continue,
To have my good intentions be abused...
By anyone confused by who it is I am,
As I have been here to know to have no doubts.
