When I announced to you,
I wanted to be left alone.
Did you think that brick wall,
I built to surround myself...
To keep your nose out of my business,
Was an exaggeration?

What should I do next?
Electrify it?
With striking lightening bolts,
Of unpleasantries.
To get that message across...
To prove to you I am serious?

I am!

I have come to value my peace.
And I will keep it protected.
Those days and times I gave to you,
To keep your insecurities entertained...
Are gone.
