I have lived here for too long
I have seen many ups and downs
I have wandered around country sides
I have visited many cities and towns
I have faced jealousy and hate
I have experienced love and care
I lived a life full of losses and gains
I ironed my dresses and combed my hair
I have lived here for too long
I have tilled lands and sown seeds
I have grown trees and eaten fruits
I have gone to temples to count my beads
Now I have the earth as my bed
And the limitless sky as the blanket
I have lived my life in my own terms
I have accepted coolly what was in my fate
One cannot fight with fate, better to accept gracefully as you did. Top marks.
"I have lived my life in my own terms I have accepted coolly what was in my fate" this confidence is extraordinary. Loved the poem
