I Have Walked Poem by Spiritwind Wood

Someday I will leave from here
and walk in a better place
my body will return to dust
but my Spirit will be free
so I ask for me
...don't shed a tear
for there will be a smile on my face
cause I have walked with faith and trust

My days here were none but brief
each one filled with joy and happiness
even in moments of despair
for I have walked with your belief
knowing you were always there
