I Hear A Bell Poem by Jeri Martindale

I Hear A Bell

I hear a bell, do you hear a bell?
A bell rings, marking the end of the day
Now I can go home and do things my way.
Living in my world is different from yours,
Except for we all hear the same bell.
I hear a bell, do you hear a bell?
A bell rings,
As I shake it in my hand.
Ringing with beauty
As I write with the other.
I hear a bell, do you hear a bell?
A bell rings a meloncoly sound,
Yet it keeps me alive as I lay down.
Not knowing if tomorrow will come,
I smile, for I know that I will be here in the morning.
I hear a bell, do you hear a bell?
