I Know The Truth Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

I Know The Truth

Rating: 5.0

Two travellers were travelling
With great spirit and enthusiasm,
Suddenly the first traveller said,
'I know the truth, '
Then the second traveller angrily said,
'I know the truth, '
This way they began to quarrel,
After a while,
Falsehood laughed at them
From the mysterious corner
And then whispered to the wayfarers,
'Only I know the truth of this world
With my false stature, '
Soon the travellers stopped quarreling
And they became stunned.

As Ishovakya Upanishad says, " हिरण्मयेन पात्रेण सत्यस्यापिहितं मुखम्‌। तत् त्वं पूषन्नपावृणु सत्यधर्माय दृष्टये ॥"…

I post the English transliteration of the Sanskrit shloka in Devanagari: " hiraṇmayena pātreṇa satyasyāpihitaṁ mukham | tat tvaṁ pūṣannapāvṛṇu satyadharmāya dṛṣṭaye ||"

A thought provoking poem well crafted. Falsehood always works with full of deception.

2. Means " The face of Truth is covered with a brilliant golden lid; that do thou remove, O Fosterer, for the law of the Truth, for sight." Those who have acquired knowledge enough to open the cover, can read The Truth. Your poem is reflective of this great scriptures
