You walked away
no words left to say
torn between a mixed emotion
tied up in a empty notion
your love a deadly potion
I couldn't let go

Remembering everything you said
I love you, I hate you
I need to leave you
I bleed for you, I wait for you
still these words in my head

Caught in this whirlwind
between an enemy and a friend
time passes we try to pretend
both looking for something new
these nights just trying to make it through
losing everything that we knew

And as we try not to let it show
hiding behind the pain
this love we both refrain
nothing here is the same
